-CONTAINER FACILITIES: 2 ha. container stacking with 96 reefer
points, 1_35 ton travelling crane for container handling, lift truck with top
spreader. Access to terminal by road.
-PASSENGER FACILITIES: Cruise vessels handled. There is also an
inter-island passenger station.

-TANKER FACILITIES: None.
-LPG/LNG FACILITIES: None.
-CRANES: 60 ton mobile crane.

Compulsory for vessels over LOA 120 m. Pilots ordered via
Agent. At least 48 hours’ notice of ETA and ETD required.
No pilot station in Basse Terre. Pilot will come from Pointe-a-Pitre. On
arrival, vessel to call ‘‘Basse Terre Port Control’’ on VHF Channel 16 or 12 to
obtain further instructions. Vessel must wait for Pilot about 1 n.m. from the
pier. Pilot usually boards port side.
